Terms and Conditions
By registering for the 2020 ICF Advance, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Attendance and participation is limited to individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
Please note that the OnDemand package does not include access to Peer Accountability Groups or the LinkedIn Group.
The ICF will be using the ICF Learning Portal for the 2020 ICF Advance. You will register for the series on this learning portal. After registration, you will access all content for the series on this portal with the use of your ICF Member Login.
The learning portal hosts the live webinars using Zoom. Please ensure you can access Zoom Webinars and Meetings. For system requirements, visit https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362023-System-requirements-for-Windows-macOS-and-Linux
Refunds will not be given to those who do not have access to proper devices and/or connections.
Payment and Inclusions
Full payment of the registration fee is required at the time of registration.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
For the Live Series and Workshop Attendees,
- Cancellations must be received in writing by September 16, 2020 to be considered for a full refund, minus a $50 administrative fee.
- Cancellations received in writing between September 17 and October 1, 2020 will receive a 50% refund, minus a $50 administrative fee.
- Cancellations received in writing after October 1, 2020 will not receive a refund.
- If canceling for medical reasons, please submit a doctor’s note of explanation along with your written request. ICF will refund the full registration fee minus a $50 administrative fee.
- No-shows will not qualify for a refund of fees.
OnDemand Package Registrants
Those who purchase the OnDemand Series will have 24 hours after they have purchased the series to request a cancellation in writing until the cancellation period ends. Those who complete more than one video within 24 hours of purchasing the OnDemand Series will not receive a full refund.
Substitutions for paid registrants can be made before October 1, 2020 by submitting a written request to the ICF office. Substitutions made from an individual ICF member to a non-ICF member will render the member discount void.
Official Language/Interpretation Services
The official language of the 2020 ICF Advance is English. All materials will be provided in English and interpretation services will not be provided.
For reasons beyond the control of the ICF, it may be necessary, to change program content, speakers and/or time blocks. The ICF is not liable for any changes.
Code of Conduct
Attendees are expected to behave professionally. Obscene language, abusive or threatening behavior directed to any other series attendee, speaker, ICF staff or personnel is not conducive to a learning environment and will not be tolerated.
Chat Responses and Questions
The chat and question features will be enabled on the live sessions. Attendee responses and questions submitted in these features will be viewed by all participants and may also be recorded and made available with the session recording.
Proprietary Rights of the ICF and Subject Matter Experts
By registering for the 2020 ICF Advance, you acknowledge and agree that all content and materials made available by the International Coach Federation ("ICF") at ICF's events or in ICF’s literary or digital works are protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, trade secrets, or other proprietary rights and laws. Except as expressly authorized by ICF, you agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit, or create derivative works from such materials or content. Reproduction, copying, creation of derivative works, or redistribution for commercial purposes of any materials or design elements of ICF’s intellectual property is strictly prohibited without the express written permission of ICF. Permission is granted in ICF’s sole discretion.
By attending the 2020 ICF Advance, you consent that your likeness, captured by questions, commentary, photo or video, can be used by ICF for promotional purposes in print, video and online.
Handouts and Materials
Handouts, whenever provided by the presenters, will be made available for download from the ICF Learning Portal.
Pursuant to the Canadian Anti-Spam Law (CASL) and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) ICF is seeking your express consent to have your electronic personal information stored in our system and to receive information regarding your activities within the series. By registering the 2020 ICF Advance, you are expressing your consent for your electronic data to be stored and to receive information regarding these activities. Presenters alone are responsible for the content of their respective program, presentations and/or handouts which are offered for informational purposes only. The views and opinions expressed in the sessions are not necessarily those of the ICF and are not endorsed by the ICF. The ICF disclaims any and all legal liability or responsibility for the content expressed in the sessions or materials distributed as a part of the session.
Damages and Liability
ICF accepts no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage to the attendee’s property or injury or death to the attendee’s employees, agents or representatives arising from or in connection with this series.
ICF recognizes all state and federal Anti-Trust laws.
Failure to Perform
ICF shall not be liable for any failure to perform or any delay in performing its obligations if the failure or delay is due directly or indirectly to any cause beyond the reasonable control of the organization, its employees, agents or representatives which shall include, but is not limited to, the following Acts of God: fire, flood, explosion, accident, civil disturbance or emergency or periods of armed conflict.
A portion of the revenue earned for the ICF Foundation Pro Bono Initiative workshop will be donated to the ICF Foundation
