Dr. Laura Hauser is an internationally recognized pioneer of leadership and team coaching. Her thought leadership and perspectives about effective leadership and team coaching have been showcased on podcasts, and published in leading academic journals, book chapters, and practitioner magazines.
Fun fact: Laura began using a coach approach to leadership and team development during the 1980s, and she implemented the first leadership coach training course at First Interstate Bank in 1991 (before the ICF was formed!).
She is the developer of the proprietary Team Coaching Operating System (TCOS)℠. It is designed to rapidly increase manager’s and practitioner’s competence and confidence to effectively assess, design, and implement strategies for effectively coaching teams real-time in organizations.
She brings over 40 years practical experience working with leaders and teams to create organization-wide change. After working 18 years internally for large corporations, Dr. Hauser founded Leadership Strategies International (LSI) in 1993.
Clients describe her as an enterprise-wide business partner, masterful coach, and trusted advisor. Her analytical brain, compassionate heart and focus on business results unite people toward a common vision, align teams, and strengthen leadership bench strength for improved performance. Her skills, presence, and impact have been welcomed into executive offices at many companies such as Nestle', Tyson Foods, Cedars Sinai Health Systems, Bacardi, Sony Computer Entertainment, and Cubic Corporation.
Dr. Hauser started teaching in the 1980s and has served as adjunct faculty for Fielding Graduate University since 2010. She co-designed and co-teaches the inaugural Team and Group Coaching course for Royal Roads University in Canada, and has taught advanced principles of organization design and leadership for Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business. She is passionate about shaping the future of coaching, and currently serves in an executive leadership role as President of the Graduate School Alliance for Education in Coaching. She lives with her husband in the greater Los Angeles area.
