This mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative) study explores the ways in which managers and leaders use coaching skills. Joel DiGirolamo joins the Coaching Science Community of Practice as they discuss the differences in how managers and leaders use coaching skills from professional coaches, and the benefits of using coaching skills, such as enhanced engagement, reduced intention to quit, improved working alliance, and perceived greater leadership qualities.
