Alan Lee Myers presently works for the Food and Drug Administration in the Center for Food Safety and Nutrition’s Staff College as a Senior Instructional Systems Specialist. He is working on implementing a behavioral and systems thinking approach to training Federal, state, and tribal food safety investigators and inspectors, as part of the implementation of the Food Safety Modernization Act.
Before his present position, Alan worked at the Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Secretary serving as a leadership development, organization development, and leadership coaching program manager. He designed, developed and conducted two (2) cohorts of the HHS Internal Coach Boot Camp, which later became the Federal Internal Coaching Boot Camp (now the Federal Internal Coach Training Program). He serves this initiative, which is part of the Federal Coach Network, as the Program Director. The first Federal-wide “Boot Camp” had approximately 30 mentor/support coaches and instructors providing support to 80 participants starting out; Sixty-five participants successfully completed all of the requirements for graduating. The “Boot Camp” tied for first place as the “2014 Best Leadership Development Program” by the HCMG Conference. It also received International Coach Federation approval as an “Approved Coach Specific Training Hours” provider for 136 coach training hours.
Alan has over 27 years as an internal consultant, trainer, coach, and has several years of experience as a manager. He started his Federal career at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and subsequently worked for the Federal Communications Commission and the US Office of Personnel Management, and then on to HHS at the Indian Health Service, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Food and Drug Administration and then Office of the Secretary, and then back to the FDA. In these roles, he developed numerous executive, management, supervisory, and non-supervisory leadership programs, provided management and organization development consulting, and leadership coaching and coach training.
Alan earned two Master of Arts degrees in counseling psychology and in instructional systems development. Presently, he is a candidate for a doctorate in leadership and management, and he has done additional graduate work in conflict management and theology. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Religion. Alan holds certifications in hypnosis/hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and Time Line Therapy® techniques. Alan holds a coach credential provided by the International Coach Federation as a “Professional Certified Coach.” He resides in New Market, MD.

Lily is the Principal of a coaching and facilitation practice with associates across North America. Her clients range from Human Resource professionals, middle managers and CEOs to individuals looking for a career change. Her areas of specialization include leadership development, conflict coaching, intercultural coaching, career coaching, managing through change and transition, and coach development. She also customizes workshops to meet the needs of her clients on such topics as team development, diversity and coaching skills.
Lily has a strong background in Learning and Development and Human Resources. She began her working life in retail and moved to the Federal Government, first on the front line and quickly moved into management positions. Her next step was into the Human Resources field, where she was nominated for the Silver Medal in Leadership in 2006 for her work in redesigning an organization in the Yukon Territories.
Lily then became the Coaching Strategist for the BC Government. In this role, she led the creation of an internal coaching program of 19 internal coaches who coach supervisors and managers on such topics as managing direct reports, career planning, and team coaching. A large part of this role included training and developing the coaches to serve the needs of the organization. Her work now predominantly is focused on partnering with individual Ministries to infuse a coaching approach to their daily work, with the goal to move to a higher performing organization. For this work, she was awarded the Royal Roads Leadership Award in Coaching.
Lily has a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University and a Masters in Leadership and Training and is currently enrolled in a Masters in Organizational Management and Development at Fielding Graduate University, where she recently earned a certificate in Evidence Based Coaching. She is a Professional Certifed Coach (PCC) recognized by the International Coach Federation and also holds a Diploma in Coaching Supervision from the Coaching Supervision Academy as well as a certification in Mentor Coaching. She is also a Past President of the International Coach Federation (ICF) Vancouver Island Chapter and currently serves on the Independent Review Board (IRB) on Ethics.
