Ethics Community of Practice - Contracting With Clients: Ethical Considerations
Contracting with clients is an essential element to setting up a sound relationship with a client. While written contracts (a.k.a. service agreements) are not required, they are strongly recommended. The contract should include the roles, responsibilities and rights of all parties involved. Join the Ethics Community of Practice with presenters Annie Gelfand and Michael J. Marx as they lead a discussion on the ethical considerations of contracting with clients and how this affects the coaching relationship.
Learning objectives for this seminar include:
• Including elements of sound business principles in one’s contract • Examining challenges faced for allowing for special circumstances • Avoiding pitfalls created by poor wording
