Team and Work Group Coaching Community of Practice - Preventing Executive Derailment: Transforming the Angry Executive

Managers lacking self-awareness, empathy and emotional intelligence despite their drive, intelligence, special skills, contracts and industry knowledge, often make it difficult for employees to be engaged, committed, loyal and successful. Unwittingly, they self-sabotage the results and success they desperately desire. In this experiential and active learning presentation, Peter Metzner, PCC, will provide participants insights into proven tools to effectively coach executives in danger of derailment, to build more productive relationships and to be more successful leaders. Learning objectives for this presentation include participants being able to:

  • Understand the most common personality types associated with the "too driven" executive and the interpersonal skills they need to embody
  • See how 360 Feedback can be used to foster the awareness needed to "own" behaviors that are detrimental to their team and organizations
  • Map behaviors proven to foster greater trust, communication, and collaboration
